Inspired by ancient fertility figures and the enduring archetype of the Earth Mother, and her connection to winged beings that appears in some cultures and traditions. These sculptures honour the life-giving power of the feminine and our connection with Papatūānuku.
This piece is hand crafted in the Coromandel using natural terracotta coloured clay. It is a one off creation and has found a home. Please contact me if you would like something similar created.
